Boston Celtics big man Al Horford’s sister Anna boldly claimed on X that Donald Trump and Elon Musk cheated in order to come out on top in the presidential election earlier this month. She also implied that the Democratic party will turn a blind eye to the notion that Trump swindled his way into the White House.
I know what it sounds like, idc.
I genuinely think Tr*mp & Musk cheated to win the election.
Do I think Dems will actually do anything about it? No.

Trump, who will soon serve his second term as president of the United States, seemingly won the race between him and Kamala Harris by a wide margin. As of Tuesday evening, the 78-year-old is winning the popular vote, and he also has 312 electoral votes to his name compared to Harris’ 226. The number of electoral votes needed to win the election is 270.
There is no definitive evidence that Trump and Musk conspired to use unlawful means to swing the election in the former’s favor. But it’s interesting that Anna Horford made such a claim after Trump has argued for years that the 2020 election, when he lost to Democratic candidate Joe Biden, was rigged.
Back in 2023, Trump admitted that he didn’t respect those in his campaign or part of his legal team that told him that he lost the election fair and square. He also said that it was his decision to believe the theory that the election was stolen.
Anna Horford may not be happy with the results of the election, but she’s likely content with how her brother’s team has fared since the start of the 2024-25 regular season.
Boston holds the second-best record of any team in the Eastern Conference at the moment at 9-2. The Cleveland Cavaliers — who have yet to lose a single game at 12-0 — are the lone team ahead of the Celtics in the standings.
The Celtics are also on a small winning streak right now. They have won each of their last two games, as Boston defeated the Brooklyn Nets in overtime on Nov. 8. and then proceeded to beat the Milwaukee Bucks on Nov. 10.
