Atlanta Hawks rising star Trae Young recently earned some big praise from Brooklyn Nets head coach Steve Nash.
The two-time MVP particularly lauded Young’s ability to draw fouls.
Young, 22, is in his third season in the NBA.
Yet, he’s starting to play like a proven veteran. The guard is collecting a career-high 30.6 points and 4.6 rebounds on top of 8.0 assists per game this season.
In addition, he’s shooting a career-high 46.6 percent from the field and 90.9 percent from the free-throw line. The Hawks are 4-1 through fives games this season.
Of course, Nash was a wizard with the basketball during his prolific stint in the NBA.
The Phoenix Suns icon shot 49.0 percent from the field, 42.8 percent from downtown and 90.4 percent from the charity stripe over the course of his career in the league.
