Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant took a shot at the haters that claim that he didn’t earn his two NBA championships.

Durant won both titles with the Golden State Warriors, but his signing with the team back in 2016 has been seen as a cop out by some around the NBA.

He took a shot at those that claimed he took the easy way out to his titles on “The Old Man and the Three” podcast.

“No. What does that even mean?

“I just never understood what that means, because I still come to work every day. I go through every rep at 100 percent speed. So, I just don’t understand that.

“And I played at an elite level in the Finals in all the biggest moments. And I could understood if I didn’t play well at all. But I played the best that I could play in both Finals for that team. So, I felt like I got up every day and held myself to a championship, elite-player standard and reached it pretty much 98 percent of the time in practice and games and shootarounds.

“So, yeah, of course, I earned that.”

Regardless of what people think, Durant won two Finals and two NBA Finals MVPs in Golden State.

Now, the 10-time All-Star is looking to win a title with the Brooklyn Nets.

He missed this past season due to a ruptured Achilles tendon, but he should return for the 2020-21 season.

In his career, Durant has averages of 27.0 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game.
