Brooklyn Nets superstar Kyrie Irving went after sports analyst Nick Wright on Twitter after he mentioned Irving’s name in trade speculation.

Irving has never been afraid to speak his mind, and it certainly seems like he didn’t appreciate Wright’s claim.

The 2021-22 season will be Irving’s third with the Nets. He has lived up to the hype with the team so far and has been playing exactly as advertised.

In the 2020-21 season, he averaged 26.9 points, 4.8 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game. He knocked down 50.6 percent of his shots from the field and 40.2 percent of his shots from deep.

The former No. 1 overall pick is a key piece of Brooklyn’s Big 3. The trio also features superstars Kevin Durant and James Harden.

Health was a concern for the Nets’ Big 3 at several points during the 2020-21 season, but the team is surely hoping that won’t be an issue in the upcoming campaign. If Brooklyn’s stars stay healthy, the team is going to be a very tough out.
