The Brooklyn Nets are down 2-0 in their first-round playoff series against the Boston Celtics, but they could be getting some major help soon.
Ben Simmons reportedly plans to make his debut for the Nets in Game 4.
Brooklyn Nets three-time All-Star Ben Simmons plans to make his season debut in Game 4 vs. Boston on Monday as long as rehab remains on course, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Simmons is set to play his first game since June 2021.

He hasn’t yet suited up for his new team, but it looks like that is about to change. After Games 1 and 2 in Boston, the series will now head to Brooklyn.
If the Nets manage to get a win in Game 3, Simmons’ return for Game 4 could mark a huge momentum shift in the series.
However, if the Nets fail to gather a win in Game 3, the series could be all but over before Simmons even manages to take the floor.
If the Nets lose in the first round, it would mark a major disappointment for a team that undoubtedly had championship expectations heading into this season.
