Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum shared the one teammate he hopes to play alongside in the All-Star Game this year.

In interview with Keith Smith of CelticsBlog.com, Tatum revealed he hopes to be on the same squad as Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal.

“However, Tatum did say he would love to play with fellow St. Louis native Bradley Beal: ‘Hopefully me and Brad Beal get to be on the same team. I’ve never formally played with him, just against him,'” wrote Smith.

Tatum, 22, will appear in the second All-Star Game of his career.

The Duke University product is having a tremendous campaign. He’s posting a career-high 25.6 points and 4.5 assists per game this season.

However, the Celtics have been struggling as of late. They hold a 15-17 record.

Beal, 27, is also on a tear this year. The Wizards sharpshooter is putting up a career-high 32.8 points and 5.2 rebounds per contest this season.

Furthermore, Beal is leading the league in scoring. The veteran has become one of the most respected players in the league.

The Wizards are 7-3 in their last 10 games.
