Charles Barkley is known to be a jokester and, for many years, he had constantly joked about the women in San Antonio to the point where there’s even a compilation on YouTube of his jokes regarding them.

Those days of making fun of the San Antonio women are now over as Barkley is saying that the show’s producers have told him to stop.

“If you crack a joke the wrong way, they’re like, ‘Oh no, no, no, no, you crossed the line,'” said Barkley. “They won’t even let me talk about San Antonio anymore. When I’m always talking about them big ole women down in San Antonio. They’re like, ‘Charles, we got one lady wrote an article.’ I’m like, ‘First of all, I didn’t call anybody personally fat in San Antonio. I was just joking around, and when this one lady wrote this article, I’m like, ‘So y’all gonna let one lady.’ We been having fun with this for probably 10, 15 years, and when we go to San Antonio, the people are having a blast with it. The people in San Antonio, they had T-shirts made up.”

It is yet to be known what type of punishment, if any, Barkley will receive should he speak about the women of San Antonio next season on TNT’s “Inside the NBA.”
