The Dallas Mavericks are preparing for one of their biggest games in recent memory, as they’ll take on the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 5 of their best-of-seven series.
At the moment, the series is surprisingly all tied up, 2-2.
While the Mavs will certainly want to take control of the series this evening, they’ll have to do it without star big man Kristaps Porzingis.
Porzingis also missed Game 4 of the series due to his knee. Despite that, the Mavs were able to squeak out the win in an overtime classic thanks to superstar youngster Luka Doncic.
Doncic was masterful in the playoff thriller, finishing the night with 43 points, 17 rebounds and 13 assists. He also hit the game-winning 3-pointer as the final seconds ticked off the clock.
With Porzingis off the floor again for Tuesday’s tilt, Doncic will likely have to shine once again if he wants to give his side the advantage in the series.
Hopefully, Porzingis is ready to go for Game 6 later this week.
