Leaked video shows Draymond Green trying to punk Anthony Edwards during Warriors-Wolves game

A video surfaced that showed Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green antagonizing Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards during Sunday night’s matchup between the two teams.

Edwards and the Timberwolves ended up beating the Warriors 116-110, but it didn’t come without some jawing from Green.

The four-time NBA champion got into it with Edwards after he fouled the Timberwolves star on a layup attempt.

Edwards took exception to Green’s hard foul, and Green told him to “chill out.”

“You think I’m gonna give you a layup?” Green responded. “F— outta here.”

As Edwards walked away from the play, presumably heading to the free-throw line, Green repeatedly shouted at him.

“The f— are you going to to about it then?” Green said. “What you gonna do about it?”

Green said that several times towards Edwards, saying that the Wolves guard wouldn’t do anything.

Edwards ended up firing back at Green, claiming nobody was worried about the Warriors forward and that Green was the “only one that wanna be tough.”

It’s certainly an interesting exchange, and it shows just how fierce both players are as competitors. Green, who is known to express his emotions on the court, has been extremely successful in his career by playing with the fire that he displayed in the video clip towards Edwards.

Unfortunately for the Warriors, the Timberwolves got the last laugh as they improved to 7-2 on the season with Sunday’s win. The loss dropped Golden State to 6-5 overall, and the team is just 1-3 at home in the young season.

Edwards had a big game for Minnesota on Sunday, scoring 33 points on 11-of-27 shooting from the field. He also added six rebounds, seven assists and two steals.

While it wasn’t the best shooting performance from the former No. 1 overall pick, as Edward was just 1-for-9 from beyond the arc, he made up for it at the charity stripe, knocking down all 10 of his free throws.

Green had a solid game for Golden State, hitting 3-of-7 shot attempts to score nine points. He stuffed the stat sheet – as he usually does – by adding nine rebounds, seven assists and a steal in the game.

There won’t be much time for Green and Edwards to cool down from Sunday’s incident, as the two players will square off again on Tuesday night.

The Warriors will once again host the Wolves in that game, with the contest scheduled to tip off at 10 p.m. EST.
