The Golden State Warriors are in the process of finalizing a deal to sign veteran guard Jeremy Lin to an Exhibit 10 contract.
Lin was an undrafted free agent who began his NBA career with the Warriors and played 29 games in the 2010-11 season before being released in December 2011.
After also being released by the Houston Rockets, Lin signed with the New York Knicks and became an international sensation following a fast start.
However, since that one magical season during the 2011-12 campaign, Lin has played for six other teams and had been playing in the Chinese Basketball Association.
While the 32-year-old Lin will be starting the season in the G League, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him elevated to the Warriors, who will once again be without Klay Thompson this season.
