The Indiana Pacers acquired Caris LeVert in the blockbuster James Harden trade, but it didn’t go exactly as anyone planned.
During LeVert’s physical, a mass was found on his kidney, and he is expected to be sidelined indefinitely.
LeVert opened up on what he’s going through as he waits to find out whether or not the mass is cancerous.
It is a scary situation for LeVert, but luckily the trade allowed for him to have a physical that revealed the kidney mass.
While LeVert certainly wants to be on the court, his health is more important at this time.
Indiana traded guard Victor Oladipo in the deal, which opened up a big role for LeVert.
However, his role on the Pacers will be put on hold until the severity of his diagnosis is determined. This season, LeVert is averaging 18.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 6.0 assists in 12 games.
