Adin Ross makes bold claim when comparing LeBron’s popularity to Cristiano Ronaldo’s

YouTube star Adin Ross thinks that if Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James were to make his very own YouTube channel, he would rack up more subscribers than Cristiano Ronaldo has in a matter of days.

“Guys, listen what I’m bouta say,” Ross said. “If LeBron James made a YouTube video tonight, he would be at 50 million in three days. Facts — I’m sorry, but it’s the truth.”

Ronaldo — a Portuguese soccer star — uploaded his first video to YouTube on Aug. 21, which was just under a week ago. Yet, his account is already approaching 50 million subscribers. As of this writing, Ronaldo has a whopping 49.3 million subscribers on the platform.

Ross has quite a large following on YouTube as well, even if it pales in comparison to Ronaldo’s. He has 4.5 million subscribers on YouTube, and he uploaded his most recent video on Monday night.

While James has yet to make his own YouTube channel, he already has a massive following across several social media platforms. Approximately 160 million people follow the Ohio native on Instagram, and he has 53 million followers on X.

James is also one of the more well-known athletes in the world today and for good reason. He has carved out a legendary career in the NBA.

The 39-year-old — who is the oldest active player in the NBA — has played in the league for more than 20 seasons, and during that time, he has earned 20 All-Star nods, 20 All-NBA appearances and won four titles in the years 2012, 2013, 2016 and 2020.

James won the first two titles of his pro career playing alongside Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade on the Miami Heat. He then won his third title as a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers and his most recent championship with the Lakers organization.

Perhaps now that folks have witnessed how quickly a big-name athlete such as Ronaldo can generate a large following on YouTube, James will be convinced to make his own account on the platform shortly.
