The Los Angeles Clippers have been dealt a huge blow ahead of their play-in game against the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday.

Superstar Paul George is reportedly set to miss the contest after entering the league’s health and safety protocols.

It’s a huge loss for the Clippers as they enter Friday’s game. The winner of the game will head to the playoffs as the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference, while the loser will see its season end. The Phoenix Suns await the winner in the first round.

During the regular season, George averaged 24.3 points, 6.9 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game.

Friday’s game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. PDT.
