Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo will miss Thursday night’s Game 5 of the 2021 Eastern Conference Finals against the Atlanta Hawks.
Antetokounmpo sustained the injury in Game 4 of the series when he awkwardly landed on his left leg. Fortunately, he seems to have avoided a major injury, but the Bucks will still be without the five-time All-Star in tonight’s pivotal game.
Antetokounmpo has silenced many of the doubts about his playoff capabilities this postseason. Over 15 playoff games, he has averaged 28.2 points, 12.7 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game while making 55.1 percent of his shots.
The Bucks will miss Antetokounmpo on both sides of the ball while he’s out.
Surely, the team will hope for huge games from the likes of Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday so that they can get a win in the pivotal Game 5.
