The Milwaukee Bucks and superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo reportedly have agreed to a five-year, $228.2 million supermax extension.
The deal is the largest in NBA history.
Antetokounmpo has won back-to-back MVPs with the Bucks.
The four-time All-Star has made the Bucks perennial contenders in the Eastern Conference and will now be in Milwaukee for the long haul.
Last season, Antetokounmpo averaged 29.5 points, 13.6 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game.
In addition to winning the MVP last season, Antetokounmpo also won the league’s Defensive Player of the Year award.
The Bucks will open the 2020-21 season on Dec. 23 against the Boston Celtics.
