Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo has already ignited the possibility that he may be looking for a way out of his current situation.
The reigning MVP reportedly unfollowed all of his Milwaukee teammates on Instagram recently. He now only follows nine people, three of which are his brothers.
He also unfollowed the team’s official Instagram page.
Antetokounmpo recently said that he would not request a trade from the Bucks this coming offseason.
However, after the top-seeded Bucks were knocked out of the NBA playoffs in the second round, plenty of rumors have swirled about his potential departure.
The Bucks were eliminated in five games by the Miami Heat, and Antetokounmpo missed Game 5 with an ankle injury he sustained earlier in the series.
The four-time All-Star finished the regular season averaging 29.5 points, 13.6 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game. He is yet again a finalist for the league’s MVP award.
Antetokounmpo is scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent following the 2020-21 season.
