Report: Malik Beasley caught on video surveillance pointing gun in ‘general direction’ of infant son

The reports regarding Minnesota Timberwolves guard Malik Beasley have been disturbing to say the least.

A recent update to the story can be described as nothing other than downright terrifying. According to Paul Walsh of the Star Tribune, Beasley was captured on video surveillance pointing a gun in the direction of his son.

“Beyond the charges filed last week accusing Beasley of aiming a rifle at a couple and their teenage daughter in an SUV outside his house, where a large stash of marijuana and other guns were seized by police, the petition also says Beasley was caught on indoor video surveillance pointing a rifle ‘in the general direction’ of his son in the garage that same day,” Walsh wrote.

Beasley seemed to be on his way to becoming a household name in the NBA after averaging 20.7 points per game on the Timberwolves following a midseason trade. Now, it looks more likely that Beasley will be behind bars by the time the 2020-21 season begins.

These reports are highly concerning. Luckily, it looks like local law enforcement is taking the case very seriously to make sure that all guilty parties involved are brought to justice.
