The NBA has reached a decision regarding whether or not unvaccinated players will be paid for games missed.

Players required to miss games due to a failure to comply with local vaccination mandates will not be paid for those games.

The majority of players in the NBA are vaccinated, but a handful are not. For some players, being unvaccinated could mean missing games.

Perhaps the league’s decision regarding pay will serve as a bit of an incentive for unvaccinated players to get the shot. The NBA seemingly wants to get as many players vaccinated as possible.

The league was reportedly kicking around the idea of getting some of its superstar players to appear in a pro-vaccine PSA. It remains to be seen if that’s still a possibility.
