NBA stars Damian Lillard, Trae Young and more mourn tragic passing of baseball legend Hank Aaron

On Friday, baseball icon and Hall of Famer Hank Aaron passed away at 86 years old.

Many of the biggest NBA stars immediately took to social media to send their love, condolences and words of appreciation for the legend.

Numerous NBA stars, including Damian Lillard, Kyrie Irving, Trae Young and Kevin Love, highlighted Aaron on their social media pages.

Aaron was incredibly known as one of the most respected men in basketball. He was admired by friends and fans for the way he carried himself on and off the field.

Aaron played in the MLB from 1954 to 1976. He played mostly with the Atlanta Braves.

The 25-time All-Star was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1982.
