The New York Knicks reportedly have a deal lined up for point guard Chris Paul.
The deal includes two of the Knicks’ recent draft picks in Kevin Knox and Frank Ntilikina.
It would be a huge move for New York as it tries to get back into contention in the Eastern Conference.
As for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Paul’s current team, it would not only add to their young core, but it would give them financial flexibility as they’d be getting out of Paul’s contract.
The Knicks struggled last season after missing out on big names such as Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving in free agency.
Acquiring Paul would give them their first true star since Carmelo Anthony.
This season, Paul averaged 17.6 points, 5.0 rebounds and 6.7 assists per game while leading the Thunder to the No. 5 seed in the Western Conference.
