Video: Joel Embiid Looks Miserable on Bench as Philadelphia 76ers Get Blown Out by Boston Celtics

The Philadelphia 76ers got blown out by the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night, and center Joel Embiid was not having it.

The big man looked miserable on the bench as Philadelphia lost 128-101 and fell behind 2-0 in its first-round series.

The Sixers are in a tough spot, as they are without All-Star Ben Simmons. Simmons is out indefinitely with a knee injury that he suffered during the seeding games of the NBA’s restart.

Philadelphia is very close to letting this series get out of hand, and Embiid seems to know it.

Despite the fact that the Celtics lost Gordon Hayward to an ankle injury, the Sixers were unable to compete for most of the game on Wednesday.

Embiid was the lone bright spot, scoring 34 points on 11-of-21 shooting. He added 10 rebounds and three assists as well.

The three-time All-Star will need to get more help from the likes of Tobias Harris (13 points in Game 2) and Al Horford (four points in Game 2), if the Sixers want to come back in the series.

Philadelphia will take on Boston in Game 3 on Friday at 6:30 p.m. EST from the Orlando, Fla. bubble.
