The Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors are two of the best teams in the NBA. They had an intense matchup on Wednesday night, and the Suns came out on top 107-103.
Near the end of the game, Warriors star Draymond Green and Suns forward Jae Crowder were seen going back and forth and talking a bit of trash.
Green seemingly told Crowder that he is not “like that.”
“You’re not like that,” Green apparently told Crowder. “You from Buckhead, Jae. You from Buckhead. You from a nice neighborhood. It’s not like that.”
Green and Crowder are both known to talk a lot of trash, so it’s no surprise that they were jawing with each other near the end of Wednesday’s game.
The Warriors have fallen off a bit recently, having only won three of their last 10 games. They have now dropped to fourth place in the Western Conference and hold a 48-29 record. Golden State is currently on a four-game losing streak.
As for the Suns, they have won nine games in a row and continue to show why they have the best record in the entire league. The Suns have been the best team in the league for most of the season. Phoenix is a very strong contender once again, and the team is surely itching to win a title this season after losing to the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2021 NBA Finals.
Phoenix and Golden State have no more matchups scheduled for the regular season, so the next time the two teams play could be in the postseason. As things stand now, there’s a solid chance for the two squads to meet in the second round. That would certainly be a very entertaining series.
