Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns took on Pascal Siakam and the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday.
Midway through the third quarter of the exhibition match inside the NBA’s bubble, Booker and Siakam met face to face at the rim.
Booker came out the victor after completing an insane dunk.
It’s moments like these when NBA fans get to feel truly grateful that the league has been able to make a return to the court despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
While the cheers are much quieter these days due to the lack of packed NBA arenas, the game is no less entertaining.
Booker got the better of Siakam in Tuesday’s matchup, but the Raptors enter the resumption of the 2019-20 season with much higher goals than those of the Suns.
Currently, the Raptors lay claim to the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference, with Most Improved Player award hopeful Siakam at the center of their success.
The Suns, on the other hand, are still quite a few games out of playoff contention in the Western Conference and will have to put in a near-perfect performance throughout the rest of the shortened regular season to have a chance at advancing to the playoffs.
Regardless, there’s no doubt that both teams’ fan bases will enjoy watching their favorite stars play for the rest of their respective campaigns.
The Suns defeated the Raptors, 117-106, in Tuesday’s scrimmage.
