Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant became the all-time leading Olympic scorer for Team USA over the weekend, as the 32-year-old surpassed Carmelo Anthony for the distinction.
After going through some early struggles, Team USA is finally looking like the best team at the Tokyo Olympics. Durant has been a major factor in the team turning things around.
The superstar is working on a phenomenal pro career. He has played in 13 NBA seasons, and has averages of 27.0 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game while shooting 49.4 percent from the field and 38.4 percent from deep. He is a four-time scoring champion.
He is a two-time NBA champion and an 11-time All-Star. Once the 2021-22 NBA season gets underway, he will resume his pursuit of his third ring. Right now, however, his focus is on the Tokyo Olympics as Team USA tries to win gold.
