NBA veteran Lance Stephenson has apparently been putting in work with the hope of returning to the NBA.
Stephenson is a native of the New York City borough of Brooklyn and entered the NBA for the 2010-11 season as a member of the Indiana Pacers.
Within a few years, he established himself as an effective and tenacious defender who could also contribute at times on the offensive end. He was a decent passer who had a career average of 2.9 assists per game.
Stephenson is also an irritant, as he’s well-known for an incident several years ago when he blew in the ear of then-Miami Heat superstar LeBron James during a playoff game.
Ironically, Stephenson last played in the league two seasons ago with James and the Los Angeles Lakers.
At just 30 years of age, if he proves he still has game at both ends of the floor, perhaps he’ll find his way back onto an NBA roster, maybe for more than a short-term stint.
