Report: NBA reinstating anonymous snitch hotline for upcoming season

The NBA reportedly is bringing back the anonymous hotline used to expose players who have violated COVID-19 protocols.

The NBA originally used the hotline during the league’s restart in the Orlando, Fla. bubble last season.

As the league prepares for the 2020-21 season, it is clear that they want to keep players as safe as possible during the pandemic.

Having the anonymous hotline keeps players in check from violating the protocols set in place by the league.

The NBA’s restart last season was a resounding success, as the bubble proved to work through the end of the regular season and in the playoffs.

The 2020-21 NBA season is set to being on Dec. 22.
