According to a report, San Antonio Spurs legend Manu Ginobili is returning to the organization in a new capacity.
He will take on a player-centric role designed to help players develop both on and off the floor.
Ginobili spent his entire NBA career with the Spurs, and it sounds like he couldn’t keep himself away from the team. The 44-year-old clearly holds the organization close to his heart.
Ginobili finished his fantastic NBA career with two All-Star selections and a whopping four NBA titles. He averaged 13.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game during his playing days.
The 2017-18 campaign was his last year in the league. He spent 16 years in the NBA before calling it quits. He’ll look to add another ring to his collection in his new role with the organization.
