Stephon Marbury warns that Will Smith-Chris Rock treatment is ‘coming’ for Stephen A. Smith

Without a doubt, one of the most polarizing voices in the world of sports media is pundit Stephen A. Smith.

Smith has never been known to keep quiet on his own opinions no matter how outlandish or offensive they can be to sports stars.

For example, just this week, Smith claimed that the Los Angeles Lakers should consider trading all-time great LeBron James.

Because of his strong takes, there are likely a lot of players out there that would love to give Smith a piece of their mind. It turns out that former NBA star Stephon Marbury would seemingly like to do more than just that.

When a Twitter user recently claimed that Smith deserves the same treatment that Chris Rock received when he was slapped by actor Will Smith on the Academy Awards stage earlier this year, Marbury responded by saying that Stephen A. Smith’s day of reckoning will one day arrive.

It seems rather unlikely that anyone would ever approach Stephen A. Smith in the way that Will Smith approached Chris Rock due to the backlash that the actor has faced.

He was panned across social media and ultimately received a 10-year ban from the Oscars by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Either way, it is abundantly clear that whatever Stephen A. Smith did to bother Marbury, the former NBA guard is not letting it go.

Given Stephen A. Smith’s own personality, it would not be shocking to see him reply to Marbury’s tweet in the coming days.
