Three-time Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert has reportedly been traded from the Utah Jazz to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Timberwolves are sending Malik Beasley, Patrick Beverley, Walker Kessler, Jarred Vanderbilt and multiple first-round picks for Gobert, sources tell ESPN.

Gobert had seen his name involved in trade rumors for some time, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that he’s finally been dealt.
The Timberwolves had previously shown interest in the French national. Last season, he averaged 15.6 points, 14.7 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game.
One can only wonder if this means the Jazz are set to enter full rebuild mode. Teams would certainly be interested in acquiring Donovan Mitchell if that is the case.
