Kyle Kuzma questions Mark Cuban’s pro-Kamala Harris post: ‘I’m confused’

Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma challenged Dallas Mavericks part-owner Mark Cuban on social media for his thoughts on Vice President Kamala Harris, who is the presidential candidate for the Democratic Party in the 2024 election.

Cuban claimed on X that Harris is redefining the Democratic party with her policies.

However, Kuzma was confused by Cuban’s comments, comparing Harris to President Joe Biden.

Kuzma also made a number of other posts on X that caught the attention of some users.

The NBA veteran has made some headlines lately for political reasons.

Kuzma and Cuban may have differing opinions on the upcoming election, but luckily, they will be able to cast their own votes for the candidate that they prefer this fall — whether that ends up being the same candidate or not.

After starting his career with the Los Angeles Lakers, Kuzma was traded to the Wizards ahead of the 2021-22 season as part of a package that was sent to bring Russell Westbrook to Los Angeles.

Westbrook’s time in Los Angeles didn’t work out how the Lakers had hoped, as they missed the playoffs in the 2021-22 season and eventually traded Westbrook during the 2022-23 season. After the trade in the 2022-23 campaign, the Lakers went on to make the Western Conference Finals.

Meanwhile, Kuzma has taken his scoring abilities to the next level in Washington, averaging over 21 points per game in each of the last two seasons. He signed a four-year, $90 million deal with Washington prior to the 2023-24 season, tying him to the Wizards through the 2026-27 campaign.

Last season, Kuzma played in and started 70 games for Washington. He averaged a career-high 22.2 points per game while also chipping in 6.6 rebounds and a career-high 4.2 assists per night. He also shot 46.3 percent from the field (a career-high) and 33.6 percent from beyond the arc.

The former first-round pick is hoping to lead the Wizards through their rebuild and get them back into the playoffs in the near future. Washington has not reached the playoffs since the 2020-21 season when it lost in the first round.
