The injury bug continues to hit the Washington Wizards.
Just a day after the Wizards revealed that center Thomas Bryant was out for the season with a torn ACL in his left knee, the team announced that Russell Westbrook will now miss a week with a quadriceps injury.

The Wizards are already off to a dreadful 2-8 start this season and now will be without two of their best players.
Westbrook, 32, shouldn’t be sidelined for long, but the Wizards will likely struggle in his absence.
Westbrook missed the Wizards’ loss to the Miami Heat on Saturday.
Raul Neto got the start in place of Westbrook and notched six points, three rebounds and three assists.
So far this season, Westbrook is averaging 19.3 points, 9.7 rebounds and 11.3 assists per game.
The nine-time All-Star will be re-evaluated at the end of the week.
