Former NFL superstar wide receiver Antonio Brown has become quite infamous for his online antics since the end of his playing career, and a new chapter was added to that story on Wednesday. Brown took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to associate sports pundit and former NFL star Shannon Sharpe to certain sex toys.

The posts were seemingly brought on by nothing in particular, with some fans in the comment section even asking Brown what Sharpe did to him.

Interestingly, this is not the first time in which Brown has taken to social media to seemingly question Sharpe’s sexuality. Just two months ago, he reposted a video featuring Sharpe and included hashtags that indicate that Brown may think Sharpe is both homosexual and uses steroids.

Some people find Brown’s antics online to be rather humorous, however others believe that his antics are a sign of mental instability.

Whatever the truth is, it seems quite unlikely that Sharpe will respond at all. After all, Sharpe responding would likely only give Brown more ammunition to hurl further insults and accusations his way.

While Brown and Sharpe must not be friendly with one another, they do share one thing in common. The two were absolute monsters on the football field during their respective times in the NFL.

There were several years in which Brown was considered the most dominant wide receiver in the NFL. He finished his career with 928 receptions, 12,291 yards and 83 touchdowns. He was named an All-Pro four times and won one Super Bowl.

As for Sharpe, he was as dominant as they come at the tight end position and is considered one of the few players that revolutionized the position. He finished his NFL career with 815 receptions for 10,060 yards and 62 touchdowns. He has three Super Bowl rings on his mantle.

Brown behaves somewhat erratically on social media these days, so it is hard to predict whether his two recent posts about Sharpe will be the end of the story, or if there will be more to see in the coming days.

If Brown continues, Sharpe may feel more compelled to speak out. However, even if more posts do come, it seems likely that this will be a one-sided beef.
