Antonio Brown appears to be campaigning to be Donald Trump’s running mate

Former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown appeared to campaign to be former President Donald Trumps’ running mate for the 2024 election.

Brown posted a photoshopped picture of him standing next to Trump and tagged the former president.

Trump is in line to be the Republican nominee after challengers like Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley dropped out of the running.

It’s highly unlikely that Trump would choose Brown as his running mate, but the former receiver has been extremely active on social media in his support for Trump.

Brown took a shot at President Joe Biden on Sunday after it was shared that Trump won a golf event recently. It seems like Brown was questioning Biden’s physical capability as the leader of the United States.

The seven-time Pro Bowler also shared a message from rapper Kodak Black, who believes that Trump should be in office longer than the four-year term that each president is given.

He also shared an image of a campaign slogan saying, “Put that s— on!” featuring his nickname (A.B.) and Trump’s name.

There seems to be no doubt that Brown is in support of Trump ahead of this year’s election, and it’ll be interesting to see if there are other athletes who end up agreeing with the former star receiver.

Brown has not played in the NFL since the 2021 season when he was with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

A four-time first-team All-Pro selection, Brown and his career took a downhill turn after he was traded by the Pittsburgh Steelers to the Las Vegas Raiders. Brown ended up never playing a snap for the Raiders, but he would later latch on with the New England Patriots, appearing in one game for them in the 2019 season.

Brown reunited with quarterback Tom Brady (who he played with in New England) in the 2020 season in Tampa Bay and helped the team win the Super Bowl.

However, he ended up cutting his time in Tampa short in the 2021 season when he left a game against the New York Jets early, which eventually ended his tenure with the team.

Brown has been active on social media since he stopped playing in the NFL, and he’s now looking to dabble in the political space with his support of and desire to run with Trump.
