Baltimore Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson sat out the team’s practice on Tuesday thanks to a knee injury after he wasn’t listed on Baltimore’s practice report on Monday. However, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said that the 27-year-old will be good to go in their upcoming matchup versus the Cincinnati Bengals on Nov. 7.
Jackson has started every one of Baltimore’s nine regular-season games to this point and has totaled 2,379 passing yards while taking great care of the ball as well. He has thrown 20 touchdowns compared to just two interceptions in his seventh season in the NFL.
The former University of Louisville star was also his usual dominant self in the Ravens’ most recent contest against the Denver Broncos a few days back on Nov. 3. Jackson completed 16 of his 19 passing attempts and threw for three touchdowns and 280 yards in a game Baltimore won by a final score of 41-10.
Jackson and the Ravens will aim to win their second game in a row when they face off against quarterback Joe Burrow and the Bengals. Cincinnati owns a record of 4-5.
The Ravens, on the other hand, own the second-best record of any team in the AFC North division at 6-3. Baltimore got off to a rough start to the 2024 regular season, considering it lost each of its first two contests of the campaign. However, ever since the Ravens got off to a 0-2 start, they have been one of the hottest teams in the NFL.
Baltimore has won six of its last seven games, with its lone loss during that span coming against a lowly Cleveland Browns team on Oct. 27. The Browns have won just two games all season and sit at the very bottom of the AFC North standings.
Considering Jackson will suit up against the Bengals, fans of the Ravens should be bullish about the team’s chances to continue its winning ways and pick up its seventh victory of the season thus far.
