President Donald Trump claimed that he “brought back football” during Tuesday night’s presidential debate.
The comment not only has some questions about its factual integrity, but it was not received well by Baltimore Ravens quarterback Robert Griffin III.
While the NFL season, as well as college football, has gotten underway, over 200,000 Americans have died due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Griffin is taking a shot at the president’s values, as it seems he believes football is more important than the safety of the American people.
Griffin isn’t the only athlete frustrated with Trump’s comments. Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love already took a shot at Trump earlier in the debate.
The 2020 presidential election will be held on Nov. 3.
