Josh Allen has fantasized about Super Bowl victory: ‘I can see the parade’

With quarterback Josh Allen spearheading their offensive attack, the Buffalo Bills have been perennial Super Bowl contenders in recent years. Buffalo has won at least 10 games in each of its last six seasons and has sprinkled in some deep playoff runs.

Buffalo has played in two AFC title games in that span, including one last season, though the Bills are still seeking their first Super Bowl appearance of the Allen era and first Super Bowl win in franchise history.

Allen, however, has already pictured what Buffalo’s Super Bowl parade would be like in his mind.

As has been the case for a while, Buffalo seems to be the team to beat in the AFC East division in the 2025 season. The Bills and Allen will try to clinch the division for a sixth season in a row, and the last time a team other than Buffalo won the division was when the New England Patriots did it in the 2019 season.

It’s worth noting that Buffalo has one of the easiest schedules in all of football ahead of it in terms of strength of schedule, and that should help the squad be one of the better regular-season teams again. The Bills will take on only six playoff teams from a season ago.

A new career year from Allen would certainly aid in the Bills’ pursuit of a Super Bowl, but it’s unclear if he still has another level he can reach as a player after he won the MVP award a season ago. He threw for 3,731 yards and 28 touchdowns compared to only six interceptions, and on the ground, he ran for over 500 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Maybe the 2025 campaign will mark the season where Allen and the Bills finally get over the hump and deliver a Super Bowl to Buffalo. They seem to have as good a chance as any team in the league to win it all with the beginning of the new season looming, and Allen will try to get Buffalo’s campaign off on the right foot with a Week 1 win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sept. 7.
