The Buffalo Bills saw some slight changes on Thursday regarding three players who are key to their offensive attack in quarterback Josh Allen, running back James Cook and running back Ray Davis.

First, as for the positive updates, Cook was a full participant in practice on Thursday after he was limited in Wednesday’s walk-through.

Furthermore, Allen was seen without a glove on his left hand for the first time in a while.

Conversely, Davis was limited in Thursday’s practice thanks to a new calf injury.

The Bills have a matchup against the Tennessee Titans on the horizon. The two teams will face off on Oct. 20, and fortunately for Buffalo, Tennessee has been a very beatable team so far in the 2024 regular season.

The Titans have won just one of their five contests to this point, and that victory came against a Miami Dolphins team that was without its starting signal-caller in Tua Tagovailoa.

Allen has looked like one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL so far this season. He has thrown 10 touchdowns compared to zero interceptions and boasts the highest QBR of anyone in the league right now at 79.3.

As for Cook, he did not play in Buffalo’s most recent game against the New York Jets on Oct. 14, but he is enjoying quite a successful third season in the NFL.

In five games (all starts) with the Bills to this point, he has totaled 309 rushing yards to go along with four rushing touchdowns and 16 first downs rushing. He is also having a strong season in the passing game, as he has caught 11 passes for 123 yards, one touchdown and six first downs.

Finally, Davis is averaging 28.7 rushing yards per contest in his first NFL season. He stepped up against the Jets with Cook sidelined. He ran for a team-high 97 yards on 20 carries in Buffalo’s 23-20 win.
