COVID-19 has ravaged pro sports leagues lately.

A good portion of NFL teams have been massively impacted by the spread of the virus recently, and the league was even forced to move some games in Week 15 as a result.

However, a few teams have been able to avoid serious virus issues this season, and the Cincinnati Bengals have been one of them.

Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow recently spoke about how the team has been able to steer clear of virus issues for the most part. He explained that one factor is that there’s “not a ton to do in Cincinnati.”

“We’re doing a great job with our COVID protocols,” Burrow said. “Fortunately, there’s not a ton to do in Cincinnati, so nobody’s going out to clubs and bars and getting COVID every weekend.”

Burrow has led the Bengals to an 8-6 record so far this season.

The team is currently engaged in an intense battle in the AFC North. The division features four playoff contenders, and it’s anyone’s guess as to which squad is going to walk away with the division crown.

Burrow would certainly love to lead his team to the AFC North title. The former No. 1 overall pick got quite familiar with winning during his time at Louisiana State University, but he was welcomed to the NFL with a losing record in his rookie season.

The young star is now in his second season in the NFL, and he’s looking to lead the Bengals to their first playoff berth since the 2015 campaign. Time will tell if the 25-year-old can do so.
