Report: Cleveland Browns place Jarvis Landry on injured reserve

The Cleveland Browns have placed wide receiver Jarvis Landry on the injured reserve list.

Landry exited the Browns’ Week 2 game with an MCL sprain, and he was initially described as week-to-week. Now that he’s on the injured reserve list, he’s guaranteed to miss at least a few games.

Landry got off to a hot start in Week 1. He racked up five catches for 71 yards, and he even rushed for a touchdown. Cleveland will certainly miss him while he’s out.

The five-time Pro Bowler is one of the Browns’ best weapons on offense when he’s healthy. Now that he’s on the shelf, the team will have to look elsewhere for his production.

Cleveland is 1-1 on the season and is looking to return to the playoffs.
