Jason Kelce slams fan’s phone to ground after hearing homophobic slur used against his brother Travis

Before Pennsylvania State University’s football team took on Ohio State University on Saturday, former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce was heckled by a fan.

The fan poked fun at the fact that Kelce’s younger brother Travis is dating star singer-songwriter Taylor Swift and even used a homophobic slur to describe the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.

Jason Kelce reacted by chucking the fan’s phone on the ground and throwing the word back at him in the form of a question.

ESPN reportedly isn’t commenting on the matter despite its viral nature.

The Buckeyes beat the Nittany Lions by a final score of 20-13 in what was a matchup between two ranked teams on Saturday. Running back Quinshon Judkins was among Ohio State’s top performers, as he totaled a game-high 95 rushing yards on 14 carries, meaning he averaged 6.8 rushing yards per carry.

Jason Kelce played in the NFL for well over a decade, but he never got a chance to play alongside his younger brother at the highest level. He spent the entirety of his pro career as a member of the Eagles, and he won a Super Bowl with the team in the 2017 season.

Meanwhile, Travis Kelce has also been loyal to one NFL team — the Chiefs — for his whole career. His tenure in the league is still going strong. He turned 35 years old not that long ago, yet he has still been one of the more prolific tight ends in the league so far in the 2024 regular season, even if he’s shown his age at times.

Through seven games played, he has accumulated 335 receiving yards, one receiving touchdown and 18 first downs receiving in his 12th NFL season.

He also enjoyed maybe his most productive game of the season so far in the Chiefs’ most recent bout against the Las Vegas Raiders on Oct. 27. He finished with a season-high 90 receiving yards and found the end zone in a game the Chiefs won by seven points to improve their record to 7-0.
