Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is reportedly paying a hefty sum to ensure that Taylor Swift’s family shares a Super Bowl suite with his family.

“Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s families are getting super close … taking in Sunday’s big game from a suite together TMZ has learned — and, like a gentleman, Travis is paying,” TMZ reported.

“Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ … Taylor’s mom, Andrea, dad Scott, brother Austin and his girlfriend Sydney are going to sit with Travis’ mom Donna, dad Ed, brother Jason and sister-in-law Kylie Kelce while watching Travis compete for his third Super Bowl ring.

“Taylor’s gonna be there of course, and we’re told some of her friends are tagging along … though we don’t know if any of her famous entourage will join the two families.

“Allegiant Stadium sources tell us the suite costs well over $1 million … and we’re told that Travis is covering all of it because he just wants everyone to enjoy Super Bowl Sunday together.”

Travis Kelce appeared in 15 of the Chiefs’ 17 games in the 2023 regular season and totaled 984 receiving yards, five receiving touchdowns and 50 first downs receiving. He averaged 10.6 yards per reception and 65.6 receiving yards per game in his 11th season in the NFL and as a member of the Chiefs franchise.

The Chiefs and Travis Kelce ended the 2023 regular season with an 11-6 record, which was the top record in the AFC West division by a considerable margin. The Las Vegas Raiders and Denver Broncos ended up tied for the second-best record in the division at 8-9.

The only team in the entire AFC to finish the regular season with a superior record to the Chiefs was the Baltimore Ravens, who ended up with a league-best 13-4 record.

But the Chiefs ended up defeating the Ravens on the road in the AFC title game. Travis Kelce arguably played as well as any offensive player on Kansas City in the team’s seven-point victory, considering he totaled 116 receiving yards along with one receiving touchdown on 11 catches.

Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco and quarterback Patrick Mahomes also produced on the offensive side of the ball versus the Ravens. The former racked up 68 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown, while the latter accumulated 241 passing yards and one passing touchdown compared to zero interceptions.

Before defeating the Ravens, the Chiefs also picked up wins over the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills in the playoffs in order to secure an appearance in the Super Bowl.

Travis Kelce will try to give his family (along with Taylor Swift’s family) plenty to cheer about when the Chiefs face off against the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl on Sunday. If he were to help lead Kansas City to a victory, it would mark the third Super Bowl win of his pro career.
