It was recently reported that former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick landed a workout with the Las Vegas Raiders.

The workout marked Kaepernick’s latest attempt to get back into the league. The last time he took a snap in the NFL was in the 2016 season.

According to a recent update on his workout with the Raiders, things went well.

Kaepernick has made it clear for years that he has been trying to get back into the NFL. Many NFL fans believe that Kaepernick has been iced out of the league due to his polarizing decision to kneel during the national anthem.

Though Kaepernick has made it clear repeatedly that his decision to kneel was based on his desire to bring attention to police violence and racial discrimination in the United States, some people saw his actions as disrespectful.

Still, a lot has changed since Kaepernick took his most recent snap in the league, and it is possible that those people are more open to him returning to the league than they previously were.

Time will tell if there is an NFL owner willing to make the decision to sign the veteran passer.
