IShowSpeed, a popular YouTuber and streamer, put his quickness to the test recently when he faced off against Olympic gold medalist Noah Lyles in a race. Interestingly, the 19-year-old seemingly put up a very good fight against Lyles in the race.
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill reacted to the footage and took aim at certain folks who have apparently claimed that Lyles would beat him if the two were to race.
Over the summer, Hill and Lyles went back and forth about competing in a race. The two weren’t shy about throwing shade at one another around that time.
Months later, the two have yet to compete in a race. However, in light of Lyles just scraping by with a victory over IShowSpeed, Hill is likely as confident as ever.
But Lyles is still quite the accomplished track and field star, and it’s entirely possible that he didn’t try to empty the tank against IShowSpeed. Lyles won an Olympic gold medal in Paris after he finished first in the 100-meter race.
Conversely, Hill has definitely proven himself to be one of the fastest players in the NFL. He reached a top speed of 23.24 miles per hour on a kick return back in 2016, when he was a rookie and still played for the Kansas City Chiefs.
He has also had countless other moments throughout his career that have showcased just how quick he is, and that particular strength of his is a major reason why he’s become one of the top wide receivers of this era in the NFL.
Right now, Hill is focused on turning things around for the Dolphins. They’re 2-6 and need everything he can give them if they want a chance to save their season.
Fans of the Dolphins shouldn’t keep their hopes up that Hill and Lyles will settle their beef with a race anytime soon, but hopefully one day, folks can find out once and for all which of the two is the better speedster.
