Jeff Ross addresses Tom Brady apparently being offended by his Robert Kraft ‘massage’ joke

Stand-up comedian and actor Jeff Ross recently addressed a joke he made at Tom Brady’s expense during “The Roast of Tom Brady.” Brady was apparently offended when Ross served a joke about New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft.

“He was having fun,” Ross said. “That’s his dad. Robert Kraft is like a father figure to him. He was just showing his love for Robert Kraft. And Robert Kraft loved it. We had a great talk afterward, and he was so happy that I gave him a shoutout and a salute.”

At the roast, Ross referenced a 2019 scandal where Kraft was charged with two counts of soliciting prostitution. Kraft pleaded not guilty to the charges, and they were eventually dropped because of a lack of evidence.

Brady then walked up to Ross and appeared to say, “Don’t say that s— again” to the comedian.

Brady, who played the majority of his historic NFL career for the Patriots, clearly didn’t want to see Kraft’s name dragged during the roast, a sign of how much respect he has for the Patriots owner.

Still, the seven-time Super Bowl champion seemingly had a good time during the roast, as Ross believes the now-retired quarterback was having “fun.”

A three-time league MVP and 15-time Pro Bowler, Brady is arguably the greatest quarterback in NFL history. He won six Super Bowls with the New England Patriots before heading to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and winning a title with that franchise.

Brady led the NFL in passing touchdowns five times in his NFL career, including the 2021 season when he threw 43 scores in 17 games. Brady was 44 years old that season, and he also led the NFL in passing yards.

Brady compiled an amazing 251-82 regular season record as a starter in his NFL career, and he was even more impressive in the playoffs, posting a 35-13 record.

There were several Patriots figures at the roast, including former head coach Bill Belichick, former receivers Randy Moss, Danny Amendola and Julian Edelman, former tight end Rob Gronkowski and several others.

For a player who won a ton in his NFL career, it’s cool to see Brady willing to take shots from comedians and other celebrities now that he’s retired.
