With the 2022 NFL Draft fast approaching, rumors are constantly swirling about where top prospects might land.

One recent rumor involves the New York Jets and University of Southern California standout wide receiver Drake London.

London, who very well could be one of the first receivers taken off the board on April 28, reportedly visited the Jets last week.

London offers NFL teams the enticing combination of an imposing physical frame along with impressive production at the collegiate level.

At 6-foot-5, London certainly has the size to be a solid threat at the NFL level. One interesting note when it comes to London is that he elected not to run the 40-yard dash at his pro day. Instead, he made it clear that his college tape should be enough proof of his in-game speed.

“Watch the film,” London said. “At the end of the day, I really don’t have to blow by guys to catch the ball. I mean, I can, but I don’t have to.”

In his junior year, he recorded 88 receptions for 1,084 yards and seven touchdowns in just eight games. Clearly, he has the tools necessary to be a solid player in the pros.

The Jets are obviously looking to add some talent at receiver in order to help young passer Zach Wilson. New York tried to acquire star receiver Tyreek Hill earlier in the offseason, but the Miami Dolphins slid in and completed a trade for Hill instead.

New York currently holds the No. 4 and No. 10 overall picks in the upcoming draft. It will be interesting to see if the Jets use either of those picks to select London.
