Report: Bill Belichick is ‘aware of what’s being said’ and ‘how he’s being perceived’ amid Jordon Hudson drama

Bill Belichick is the newest head football coach at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and the school is apparently hiring some PR help amid all the controversy that’s been surrounding Belichick and his relationship with 24-year-old Jordon Hudson.

UNC is reportedly close to officially hiring former Chicago Bears PR chief Brandon Faber. It’s worth noting that Hudson has arguably been acting as Belichick’s very own PR employee in some ways of late. She sat in on a viral interview involving Belichick late last month, and when Belichick was asked about some of their relationship details, she said, “We’re not talking about this.”

Amid all of the drama involving him and Hudson, he is reportedly “aware of what’s being said” and “how he’s being perceived” by folks.

“And I have heard that he’s aware of what’s being said, and how he’s being perceived and that, at this point, he’s far from having it all figured out,” wrote Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated.

The University of North Carolina recently had to set the record straight regarding whether Hudson is allowed in team facilities. Sports media personality Pablo Torre reported that she was barred from the team building and field, but the school released a statement explaining that she’s welcome at the facilities.

For all of the hullabaloo that Belichick has seen himself involved in since agreeing to be the head coach of the Tar Heels, he has yet to even begin his maiden season coaching the team. He was named the team’s newest leader after UNC endured a mediocre 2024 season. The Tar Heels won just six of their 13 games and ended up with a record below the .500 mark.

Belichick and Hudson have known each other for some time now. They reportedly met in the year 2021 when the latter was still attending college, and they have reportedly been dating since 2023.

It should be interesting to see how much longer Belichick and Hudson’s relationship will last with all of the public attention the two have been getting. If Belichick is indeed aware of how he’s being perceived, perhaps folks shouldn’t be all that shocked if something changes in the near future.
