Caitlin Clark takes action as Antonio Brown makes inappropriate comments about her private parts

Indiana Fever player Caitlin Clark blocked former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown on X (formerly known as Twitter) after the latter posted an indecent remark regarding Clark’s private parts.

Clark was recently drafted by the Fever with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft after a historic 2023-24 collegiate season at the University of Iowa.

In her fourth and final season with the Hawkeyes, she averaged 31.6 points, 7.4 rebounds and 8.9 assists per game on 45.5 percent shooting from the field and 37.8 percent from deep on 13.6 attempts from 3-point range per contest.

But despite Clark’s brilliant play, the Hawkeyes came up just short of an NCAA title. The University of Iowa lost to the University of South Carolina by a final score of 87-75 in the title game.

In her final game with the Hawkeyes, Clark contributed 30 points, eight rebounds and five assists in the losing effort.

While Clark is set to begin her professional basketball career shortly, Brown hasn’t played in the NFL in some time.

Brown hasn’t shied away from controversy in recent years. Back in March, he seemingly campaigned to be Donald Trump’s running mate ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

His most recent NFL season came in 2021, when he appeared in seven games with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the regular season and totaled 545 receiving yards, four receiving touchdowns and 29 first downs receiving.

Brown spent the first nine seasons of his NFL career with the Pittsburgh Steelers organization, who selected him with the No. 195 overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. During his stint in Pittsburgh, he led the league in receptions twice, receiving yards twice and receiving touchdowns once.

He also averaged a league-high 109.5 receiving yards per contest in 14 games played (all starts) during the 2017 season.

Brown has played for one more NFL team outside of the Buccaneers and Steelers, considering he spent the 2019 season on the New England Patriots playing alongside arguably the greatest quarterback of all time in Tom Brady.
