Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant is closing in on a return to the floor from a hamstring injury.

Durant, 32, has been out of action for over a month.

The veteran has undergone several tests and evaluations. He was forced to miss the 2021 All-Star Game.

Of course, the Nets have been highly cautious with the two-time champion. Durant missed the entire 2019-20 campaign due to an Achilles injury.

The All-Star showed no rust in his return to the court this year. In fact, he’s averaging a whopping 29.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game this season.

The Nets took the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference standings after Wednesday night’s set of games.

The Nets hold a 33-15 record.
