Brooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving reportedly is expected to make his debut this season on Wednesday.
Irving has yet to play for the Nets this season due to his decision not to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
While Irving could have played in most of the Nets’ road contests so far, the team initially opted against using him in a part-time capacity. Recently, the Nets changed that stance, though Irving tested positive for the virus last month.
The Nets currently have the second-best record in the Eastern Conference at 23-11, so Irving’s absence hasn’t hurt them too much. How much better they do with him in action will apparently start becoming clearer on Wednesday night.
