Report: Nets front office has ‘made it clear’ that it’s unhappy with Kyrie Irving’s actions

Brooklyn Nets superstar Kyrie Irving has been absent from the team for personal reasons and has missed the Nets’ past three games.

The All-Star guard reportedly is now under investigation by the NBA after a video emerged of Irving maskless as a party.

Nets head coach Steve Nash still does not have an update on Irving’s whereabouts, and it now seems that the Nets front office is “unhappy” with Irving’s actions.

The Association’s Anthony Puccio wrote in his newsletter that the organization’s contact with Irving has been minimal.

“How much patience does owner Joe Tsai have with Irving?” Puccio wrote. “Communication has been minimal, but the front office has made it clear that they’re unhappy with the superstar’s actions.”

It is no surprise that the Nets are unhappy with Irving taking a leave from the team without citing a reason.

If there is a serious issue, Irving should be allowed all the time he needs. However, if the absence was to party, the Nets clearly should be bothered.

This season, Irving is putting up 27.1 points, 6.1 assists and 5.3 rebounds per game. The Nets are currently 5-6 and play the New York Knicks on Wednesday.
